We got to play with the coolest toys today. They are like huge tinker toys. The boys were so excited to see the UPS truck arrive with this huge box and the Toobeez logo right on the side. They knew what it was immediately. We quickly got the toys unpacked and went to work. First Youngest made a microphone, then they both made people and then we all made an Anacopter (helicopter in Youngest language). It was awesome! There was a little confusion on how to make the helicopter and we had to rearrange things a few times but it all worked out. You don't get directions with the set, only pictures of things made. You do however get Activity Workbooks that as a homeschooler I think are great. I got a Math and Language Arts activity book that has 10 activities a piece. They give detailed instructions and help make learning fun. I also got a free download of the Teambuilding Activity book which promotes teamwork and looks like it will be great to use with my boys. These aren't just toys they are learning tools and the Toombeez team has already written some lesson plans to help you get started. What more could we ask for.
Of course the helicopter is only one of many things you can make. They have since made a soccer goal, a star, a tent and some things that I'm not sure have a name. Here is a sample of the things you can do.
Thanks to Family Review Network for this AWESOME opportunity!
