As homeschoolers we are asked, "Aren't you worried you're children will be too sheltered?" I always ask them if they worry their children won't be sheltered enough. One question that could now be asked to public school supporters is, "Aren't you afraid you're child may be shot? abducted? violated? or introduced to drugs?" Instead of lengthy answers (arguments) with these mostly well meaning people I now just say "It is better they be sheltered than shattered." That usually ends any questioning.
